I WON"T BACK DOWN by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers

September 11 should be marked as a day of resolve and courage which is why that song must be played.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers performed the song "I Won't Back Down" on the telethon ("A Tribute to Heroes; to raise funds for the Sept 11 victims) and it was the only song (that I recall in the program) & performance that was "Defiant / Challenging" to those who attacked us (and their supporters) and not weepy or maudlin.

The Sept 11 dead & injured were victims of an attack by non- nation state terrorists who were supported / sponsored by Afghanistan - Iran - Saudi Arabia. Our remembrance of Sept 11 should be of courage and defiance to all terrorists and all of their secular and theological supporters.
