Stabat Mater and Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee

:

The hymn Stabat Mater (the mother was stranding) is the traditional Lenten hymn that is very powerful, and 9/11 was another crucifixion, so it is very appropriate. At the same time, the hymn Joyful, jJoyful, We Adore Thee is appropriate because God's intercession made it not as bad as it could have been: the towers didn't topple over as intended, and 3,000 people died, with no injuries, not hundreds of thousands. Hearing the Stabat Mater particularly would be very appropriate.
