"Safe and Sound" by Sheryl Crow

I heard this for the first time during a free concert that Sheryl Crow gave at Battery Park in May 2002. It is beautiful, ethereal, spritual. The lyrics speak so deeply to me and reflect how I felt on 9/11 as I lived through the horrific news of the loss of friends and neighbors and didn't know what to do to help.
