Rapsody in Blue

This music reminded me of NYC before I ever lived here, before I ever knew that it was intended to evoke a memory of NYC. It represents the power of this city, especially its power to generate creativity. I can hardly listen to it without crying. I think of the diversity of people I saw walking across Brooklyn Bridge on Sept 11. I was so proud.
