This song reminds me that their is always hope in the midst of the darkest hours. The song begins with a requiem played on the accordion. One hears a siren go by. The lyrics capture the overwhelming emotional landscape that we all felt right after the attacks. The loss, the confusion and the despair followed by the hope the faith and the strength that we found as we clung to each other.
We will heal and we will come together and we will rise.
